Let's Go To The Moon!

When I started out in tech I’d see and hear “LGTM” this “LGTM” that, and I had no idea what people were talking about. To me, it was some secret tech language and I wasn’t sure I’d ever understand...

I told myself, “I’m asking too many questions already. I’ll just play it cool.” I could have easily googled the meaning but even the idea of googling for something easy like that felt embarrassing.

Fast forward to a few months ago I asked Lovisa, my girlfriend, my mentor, and designated proofreader, to look over a blog post for me and she said, “LGTM, Danny”. I responded by singing Let's Go to the Moon enunciating each word like an opera singer.
She looked at me and started laughing, “LGTM stands for Looks Good To Me but I like your version better.”

She later tweeted about it.

She’d always hype me up whenever she got the chance ♥️

(P.S. our new team member, Lauren, thought it stood for Let's Go to the Market). Arguably, her idea is much more realistic for a DevRel team.

Anyways, the New Relic DevRel team, the Relicans, has been up to all kinds of fun stuff. Here is a list of highlights from August ✨
