It's another day of work and you have an endless "To-Do" list that seems to grow with every minute. You plug in your headphones or connect to that BT speaker and press play. What's playing? What gets you into that work zone? Is it the therapeutic sounds of lo-fi beats? Or maybe you've been listening to Japanese '80s pop music? Perhaps, you're a fan of Franzl Lang - Germany's famous yodeler! Maybe, you've been gifted with the sounds of an upstairs neighbor WHO SEEMS to BE INVOLVED IN BOWLING PRACTICE DURING THE DAY! 😤
Anyways, we want to know! We want the music, podcasts, sounds, etc. you've been listening to get you in that productive zone!

Lately my "Getting Stuff Done" music has been Trixie Mattel. I did my taxes to the dulcet tones of a drag queen country star. But a lot of the time I watch Twitch or YouTube while working haha
Listening to Trixie Mattel now for the first time! I'm really liking it! I'm thinking the world needs an Orville Peck and Trixie Mattel collab!
Omg YESSS or a Lil Nas X collab 👀 Though he's not really country anymore
Next week's discussion is "How do we make this happen?" 😂
I like to listen to LoFi Pretzel Rocks when I'm streaming, because it feeds into the feeling, but I listen to a special inspiration list on Spotify when I'm working offline.
Also, I made a YouTube video for April Fools. It's kind of like a coding music video?
I listen to a lot of Brazilian and/or instrumental music when I'm heads down. When I'm not super pressed for time, though, my go-to is always showtunes! On stream, I use T-Pain's Pizzle Pack for background music.
I've been loving Pizzle Pack for background music!
I life life lofi or edm, things without a singer, or I will stop coding to sing along lol
Even I do the exact same thing. 😂
🤣 I definitely dance along to everything.
I find myself listening to the same thing with whatever I'm doing.
Recently this has been my playlist:
Man on the Moon III - Kid Cudi
Mystic Stylez - Three 6 Mafia
The Life of Pi’erre 4 - Pi’erre Bourne
Often, I don't listen to anything. Sometimes I will put a show on that I can watch passively, mostly following it through dialogue.
Sometimes I will listen to audio books, and sometimes I will listen to music, though what I listen to on any given day can vary tremendously from 1980s music to show tunes to modern pop and country, to anything in between.
I listen to a lot of EDM, mostly Yellow Claw, Nicky Romero, and Afrojack whilst coding. It keeps me pumped up always, and Avicii to top it off. Just the perfect blend.
